How our community is dealing with a mandated closure
We asked you guys for some feedback last week via an online survey. We wanted to know what your motivation was like now that we have lived this new “Shelter in Place” order for a few weeks. We also wanted to know what factors were affecting your motivation or lack there of. We are so grateful for those of you that took the time to fill it out and give us some great feedback.
This chart was important to us because it proves that you are NOT alone. So many of us are being affecting by various factors that cause us to be defeated before we even try to begin a workout.
Overall, as a community the motivation level only decreased by 5% after the shut down. We know that some of you went from very motivated to an extreme lack of motivation, so please do not look at these numbers and feel even more discouraged. We are here to help.
Ask yourself, what is the actual reason I don’t jump onto a zoom call, watch the videos released every morning or check ZenPlanner to see my friends and their scores. We can set you up with a personal Accountability Coach. If none of these appeal to you we want to know what will. We understand that this is a crazy time, but just think to the future. Will the gym opening back up really peak your motivation? It’s easy to say, “Oh well, I’ll do XYZ tomorrow.” But when tomorrow comes, it comes with it’s new set of distractions. Get into the habit now and you will be unstoppable.
